What is Organic Farming?
Organic farming is a method of growing crops without the use of synthetic chemicals or pesticides. It’s because nature provides the best solutions to problems, and farmers who practice organic methods strive to mimic natural processes.
There are many benefits to practicing organic agriculture, including increased crop yields, reduced pollution, and healthier soil. In addition, organic food is less expensive than non-organic food, making it accessible to everyone.
Organic farming has become increasingly popular over the past few years, and it’s estimated that nearly 80% of the world’s population now lives within 100 miles of an organic farm. However, organic farming is still relatively uncommon in the United States. The USDA estimates that just 2% of U.S. farms are certified organic.
While organic farming is becoming more common, it’s still not widely practiced in the U.S., and there are still many misconceptions surrounding it. For example, many people believe organic foods are unhealthy or unappealing. But in reality, organic foods are actually much higher in nutrients and contain far fewer harmful substances than conventional foods.
Organic farming is also environmentally friendly. Because it doesn’t rely on chemical fertilizers or pesticides, it reduces the amount of water used and the amount of greenhouse gases produced. And since it relies on naturally occurring bacteria and fungi instead of artificial additives, organic farming helps prevent the spread of diseases and pests.
Organic farming has some drawbacks, though. Since it uses natural methods, organic farming requires a great deal of work from both the farmer and the consumer. Farmers must tend extra their crops and animals, and consumers must pay more for their products.
But these costs are outweighed by the benefits of organic farming. As long as we continue to support organic farming, it will only grow in popularity.
Manufacturing of Organic Ghee
Ghee is a type of butter used in Indian cooking. It has a higher fat content than other types of butter and is considered healthier because of its high saturated fat content.
Organic ghee is produced by heating milk until it separates into two layers. The top layer is skimmed off and discarded, while the bottom layer is then heated again until it becomes solid. Organic ghee is available in many grocery stores, health food stores, and online retailers.
It contains vitamins D, E, K, B6, and B12, along with minerals including zinc, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium, copper, manganese, and iodine. Ghee is used in cooking and as a natural remedy for colds, coughs, and sore throats.
Organic oils are extracted from plants and contain no additives or preservatives. Because they’re unrefined, they tend to have a stronger flavor than refined oils. However, this strong flavor can be a positive attribute if you enjoy cooking with these types of oils.
Organic ghee is produced through a traditional method called churning. The milk solids are separated from the liquid fat, leaving behind the water and other impurities. Then, the remaining milk solids are heated until they turn into butterfat. Finally, the butterfat is strained off and cooled down to create pure, unadulterated ghee.
Ghee is traditionally used in Indian cooking, but it’s becoming increasingly popular worldwide. We source our organic ghee from India, where it’s produced without the use of chemicals or additives. Our ghee is free of preservatives, artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. It is gluten-free.
