RECIPE

Quinoa Fried Rice

A bowl of quinoa fried rice
  • Quinoa - 1 cup
  • Sesame Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste - ½ tsp
  • Onion, chopped - ¼ cup
  • Carrot, chopped - ¼ cup
  • Red Bell Pepper, chopped - ¼ cup
  • Yellow Bell Pepper, chopped - ¼ cup
  • Zucchini, chopped - ¼ cup
  • Broccoli, chopped - ¼ cup
  • Pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Soy Sauce - 1tsp
  • Spring Onion, chopped - ¼ cup 
  • Salt as required
  1. Rinse and soak the Quinoa for 5 minutes
  2. And steam cook it in 2 cups of boiling water
  3. Then let the cooked quinoa cool down
  4. Heat a frying pan for 30 seconds.
  5. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of oil, add ginger paste, garlic paste, onion and saute briefly.
  6. Saute carrots, red bell peppers, and yellow bell peppers for 3 minutes 
  7. Add zucchini and broccoli to the same pan and saute for 2 minutes, then season with salt as required
  8. Add ½ tsp Black pepper powder, 1tsp Soy Sauce
  9. Add cooked quinoa to the above mixture and mix well. Add chopped spring onions.

It’s time to call the family and serve them delicious, hot and healthy quinoa fried rice!
