For dough:
- Annapoorna Wheat flour – 2 cup
- Sesame oil – 2 tbsp
- Water for kneading
- Salt as required
For stuffing:
- Sesame Oil – 5 tbsp
- Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Garlic, chopped – 3 cloves
- Annapoorna Organic Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
- Onion, chopped – 1/2 cup
- Mushroom, chopped – 10
- Carrot, chopped – 1 cup
- Cabbage, chopped – 1 cup
- Pepper powder – 1/4 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Coriander leaves
- In a medium-sized bowl, add all the wheat flour, required salt & 2 tablespoons of oil, and mix them well.
- Knead the flour and cover it with a thin layer of oil.
- Cover the flour with a soft cotton cloth and leave it aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat a frying pan for 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of oil, and add ginger and garlic and saute them slightly.
- Add the chopped onions, mushroom, Annapoorna Organic Chilli Powder.
- Roast till the mixture turns golden brown.
- Add carrot, cabbage and salt, saute well
- Add sesame oil, powdered Annapoorna Organic Pepper, coriander leaves and keep it aside.
- Divide the dough into 12 small balls of the same size.
- Flatten each ball into a small circle.
- Place the stuffing inside it and then pleat the edges as in a momo.
- Make the remaining balls similarly.
- Now, heat the frying pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Place the momos and add half a cup of water. C
- Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Now the tasty and crispy momos are ready.
