RECIPE

Onion Pakoda

  1. Onion Sliced – 3 numbers
  2. Green Chillies – 3 to 4
  3. Annapoorna Fennel – 1 tsp
  4. Annapoorna Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
  5. Pinch of Asafoetida
  6. 1 Sprig Curry Leaves chopped
  7. Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp
  8. Oil – 1 tbsp
  9. Required Salt
  10. ½ Cup Annapoorna Besan Flour
  11. ¼ Cup Rice Flour
  12. Water
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced and separated onions, green chillies, Annapoorna Fennel Seeds, Annapoorna Chilli Powder, a pinch of asafoetida, 1 sprig Curry leaves chopped, coriander leaves, oil and salt. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. To the above mixture, add the Annapoorna Besan Flour & Rice Flour. Combine well.
  3. For 5 minutes, set this aside.
  4. Heat the oil for frying.
  5. Sprinkle a little water over the dough and mix well.
  6. Fry the small amount of dough in the hot oil until it is golden brown.
